Running and then blogging about it
Ultimate Hard Body 3

Hard Body On

By Colleen @colleenalicia · On January 26, 2011

Have you ever wondered what kind of things you should be eating while you’re trying to get an Ultimate Hard Body? I assume the answer is yes, and I am blogging today to tell you that you’re in luck: for some reason I am photo-documenting every single thing I eat for the next month. As my life is solely dedicated to the quest for the Ultimate Hard Body, everything I eat can be considered to be part of the UHB Diet. Please enjoy this slideshow of everything I eat, and feel free to model your own diet after mine:

For more information on why I’m taking these pictures, click here.

Taking pictures isn’t the only thing I’m doing to get my UHB. This week I took three giant steps that will surely help me get it:

  1. Signed up for the Eugene Half Marathon (with prompting from my friend Lauren)
  2. Went to TWO yoga classes
  3. Went to TWO CONSECUTIVE kettlebell classes at a new kettlebell gym called Spinach

Note that it’s only Tuesday. Prepare to be amazed by what I do with the remainder of the week. Or unamazed – we’ll see.

PS. For anyone that was worried about Pascal last week when he was sick, you can stop now. He is totally better!

I must confess, I started running at a very early age. Sadly, my runs were unblogumented until around age 23, so you'll have to use your imagination for all the runs I went on before that. Running has always been my go-to sport, but sadly, I spend a good amount of my time with chronic injuries. I have learned to entertain myself athletically with other pursuits such as kettlebell, yoga, and bikini competitions, when I can't run. In addition to my unique talent for working out and then blogging about it, I am an amateur puppy stylist and photographer, television enthusiast, and I'm usually CPR/AED certified, but I would still prefer if you didn't pass out when we're together.

THe mystery soup was lentil soup that I made from scratch. Did you like it? No offense taken if you didn’t. When is the half marathon? Maybe I will sign up too, if you need a buddy.

Why are you eating cat food with corn and tomatoes? Also, I will give the homeless like a thousand quarters in exchange for a whole entry about rule 2.

    About Me

I’m Colleen. I started this blog when I was 23 years old and training for my first marathon. I was single, semi-employed, generally directionless in life, and had a lot of free time on my hands. I have a lot less free time now, but I still love to come here and dump my rambling, unedited thoughts after a workout or race once in a while.
